NLC 1301: Blog 11 12/13/12

Eighner  discusses the discarding of food by college students , in my experience on the cafeteria in school you see this happen every single day. As Eighner says in the essays students during breaks, mid semesters or summer you can see a lot of good things that they trashed. In the cafeteria each day, many students grab food and throw them. They don't even eat them or touch them, if they know that they won't eat it, they still trow them. I don't think he is being too hard on students, his characterization seem accurate , you can see that every where not only at schools . Also at work areas, like any fast food area, if they messed up in an order they still trowed them away no matter what. I have experience it at work , since i work on a fast food restaurant every time we messed up on any of the food , we have to throw them,

NLC 1301: Blog 10 12/7/12 Hen Acevedo

My three main topics: 1.Why should the healthy people in the U.S should have to pay  the same or equal amount for medicaid as for the people who actually need it. 2.How has technology help us with education? 3.Should students have less or more hours in school?. From the three topics , the two i know mostly about is that technology has help us to learn in different ways from learning how to get information , to communicating with other and learning from each other.  Also that if we have less school hours , the students are better to develop and have more sleep at home. Also they have more family time, and more time to do their homework or any activities outside school. I know also that in the United States everyone is equal, which mean the same equal rights for anyone who is ill or not i'll , fat or skinny, etc. I would like to learn from the three topics many things. I want to learn how technology can affect us in the future or would it  make it better for the new generation to learn better.  What if they charge everyone depending on the disease that each have?, would it be fair both everyone?. Would having less or more school hours help the students to have a better and successful life or would it affect them?. I would like to know if medicaid rights have change ,depending which diseases can help cover and which one are not. If students in other school who have less hours of school learn more or the students who have pass more time in school.  If everything the students used where in a computer and the only thing they used to make research, labs and essays would the internet be more secure or would it have the same security.
